March 17, 2019, IPHO-SULU- The Sulu Integrated Provincial Health Office (IPHO-Sulu) was the beneficiary of a newly constructed Building Facility coming from the Sulu Provincial Government, thru the initiative of Sulu Governor Abdusakur A. Tan II.
A two storey 16 Room airconditioned 32 Bed Staff House/Dormitory with 2 VIP Quarters was inaugurated and Turned-Over by Governor Tan to IPHO Chief Dr. Fahra T. Omar in a simple program- ceremony, this morning at the IPHO- Sulu Compound,. The Facility includes a kitchen/Dining Room and 3 sets of Comfort and Bath/Shower Room, and Stock Room for each Floor. Two (2) 52 inch Flat Screen HD Television set is provided for the Staff common area.
Dr. Omar thanked Governor Tan for the concern he has shown towards the welfare of the Health Workers of IPHO.
“Our Health Workers don’t have to go home anymore for their break and rest, especially those who are on on-call duty,, We now have a convenient place to rest and spend our downtime. This would definitely boost the efficiency of our Service. “

Tan in his speech, toId IPHO personnel, that when Dr. Omar proposed to construct a dormitory for IPHO Health Workers, he did not have second thoughts.
“The health workers of IPHO have been a steady and reliable partner of the Provincial Government for the past six years, providing medical Services in the different and far flung areas everytime we go around Sulu, always supporting the initiatives and Programs of my administration.” Tan, stated
Tan led the ribbon cutting ceremony and Tour inspection of the Building facility.
In closing, Health Workers greeted Governor Tan, who is also celebrating his birthday. They sang Happy Birthday to the Governor and brought out a birthday Cake. Governor Tan before blowing the candle, wished “Sana magkaroon tayo ng Magandang Hospital.”
Aside from Health Workers, Provincial and Local Officials, were also present to witness the unveil of the New facility.
